Cellulose sponges and cloths
Sustainable, eco-friendly cleaning solution

Cellulose sponges and cloths offer a highly sustainable, eco-friendly cleaning solution, combining the benefits of natural materials with impressive utility. They are free of petroleum-based plastics, are biodegradable and compostable, and help reduce single-use waste while promoting green living practices.

Eco Friendly and Natural Benefits:

Cellulose sponges and sponge cloths are manufactured from renewable plant fibers such as wood pulp and waste cotton, avoiding harmful plastics and synthetic chemicals.

  • Both types are completely biodegradable and 100% compostable, leaving no microplastic pollution behind.

  • Natural dyes used are safe for soil, water, plants, and animals during the disposal process.

  • Each sponge cloth can replace an average of 17 rolls of paper towels, helping cut down millions of tons of landfill waste every year.

By choosing natural cellulose sponges and sponge cloths, households make an impactful step toward reducing waste, conserving resources, and supporting a healthy ecosystem.

Natural Sponge Cloths

use and care

Natural sponge cloths combine the softness and absorbency of cellulose with the durability of cotton for versatile cleaning performance.

  • They absorb up to 15 times their weight in water and can scrub, mop, polish, and clean smoothly across every surface.

  • Typical uses include washing dishes, mopping up spills, polishing silverware, cleaning vegetables, wiping off pets, cleaning kitchen appliances, and dusting shelves.

  • To use, simply wet the cloth, use it as you would a towel or sponge, and rinse after. For care, hang immediately to dry and wash by machine or in the dishwasher. These cloths dry fast, discouraging bacterial growth and odors.

  • Lifespan averages around 9 months, after which the cloth can be composted and will naturally break down.

Pop-Up Cellulose Sponges

use and care

Pop-up cellulose sponges are made purely from plant-derived cellulose, making them safe for non-stick cookware and delicate surfaces.

  • Their texture and flexibility make them ideal for scrubbing dishes, cleaning glass, bathroom surfaces, as well as exfoliating skin and even massaging.

  • They do not release microplastics, and are easy to sanitize with hot water or boiling—unlike plastic sponges.

  • To use, assign different sponges to specific cleaning tasks for maximum hygiene, and always allow the sponge to dry completely between uses.

  • For longevity, avoid prolonged soaking and keep away from heat sources. These sponges typically last around 3 months before composting.
